It features an integrated 4.0 Megapixel hardware CMOS sensor with native Wi-Fi broadcasting, letting instructors stream live microscopic video directly to multiple student tablets and smartphones via the MotiConnect app. Powered by an infinity-corrected CCIS optical train, it delivers 40x, 100x, 400x, and 1000x magnification via four Plan Achromatic UC objectives: 4x/0.10, 10x/0.25, spring-loaded 40x/0.65, and spring-loaded 100x/1.25 oil immersion.
Transmitted light is driven by a full Köhler system with an internal 3W Smart LED module interchangeable with an optional 12V/30W quartz halogen lamp, focused through a centerable Abbe 0.90/1.25 NA condenser with marked iris steps. The Motic Light Intensity Indicator (MLLI) system features an LED display ring around the nosepiece that shows active illumination levels. The 25-degree inclined Siedentopf binocular head carries ultra-widefield UC-WF 10x/22 mm eyepieces across an adjustable 48 mm to 75 mm interpupillary span.
