GPO USA 10×50 Passion HD Binocular (Black)

Description

Resolve distant trophy game contours and scan dense timber edges with the GPO USA 10×50 Passion HD Binocular (Black) high-transmission roof prism optical system. Pairing 10x magnification with massive 50mm objective apertures, this high-performance optic provides a 309.7-foot linear field of view at 1000 yards (103.2m at 1000m), an actual angle of view of 5.9 degrees, an expansive 5mm exit pupil, and 19.5mm of eye relief for comfortable, fatigue-free scanning during extended dawn and dusk hunting sessions.

The optical system features Double HD laminated lens technology utilizing paired extra-low dispersion (ED) glass elements, phase-corrected Schmidt-Pechan roof prisms treated with dielectric multi-layer mirror coatings, GPObright fully multi-coated optical surfaces, and PASSIONdrop hydrophobic external coatings. Built inside a lightweight magnesium alloy chassis with a micro-bridge frame and black rubber armoring, the housing measures 17.5 by 13.5 by 6.4cm (6.9 x 5.3 x 2.5 inches) and weighs 960g. The optical tubes are nitrogen gas filled and O-ring sealed for 500-mbar waterproof and fogproof protection against adverse mountain weather. Adjustments include a central focus wheel with an integrated central locking diopter dial, a 9.8-foot (3m) close focus distance, solid aluminum twist-up click-stop eyecups, and an interpupillary adjustment scale from 58mm to 76mm.

Key Features of GPO USA 10×50 Passion HD Binocular (Black)

Engineered for big-game hunters and field naturalists, this 10×50 roof prism binocular combines Double HD laminated glass with high-reflectivity Schmidt-Pechan prisms. Its 5mm exit pupil delivers high image brightness during deep twilight hours along dark timber margins. The nitrogen-sealed magnesium chassis, integrated central locking diopter, and machined aluminum eyecups provide dependable mechanical control and weather resistance across rough backcountry environments.

• 10x magnification power paired with 50mm objective lenses producing a bright 5mm exit pupil
• Schmidt-Pechan roof prism system treated with phase-correction and dielectric mirror coatings
• Double HD laminated extra-low dispersion (ED) optical glass eliminating color fringing
• Linear field of view of 309.7 feet at 1000 yards (103.2m at 1000m) with 5.9-degree actual angle
• Generous 19.5mm eye relief with machined aluminum multi-position twist-up eyecups
• Central focus wheel with an integrated central locking diopter mechanism and 9.8-foot close focus
• Airtight nitrogen-purged magnesium alloy chassis certified waterproof to 500 mbar pressure
• PASSIONdrop water, dirt, and oil-repellent protective coatings applied to external lenses

Phase-Corrected Schmidt-Pechan Prisms & Double HD Lenses

The 50mm objective lenses combine Double HD laminated glass elements to gather abundant photon volume while eliminating secondary chromatic aberration on high-contrast skylines. Dielectric mirror coatings and phase correction on the Schmidt-Pechan prisms eliminate internal phase-shift loss, producing sharp contrast and authentic color separation across dense forest backgrounds. GPObright multi-coatings maximize light transmission through the entire optical train, allowing observers to resolve camouflaged game deep within shaded timber during fading twilight.

All-Weather Magnesium Housing & Aluminum Eyecup Engineering

The magnesium alloy chassis features an ergonomic micro-bridge design that optimizes weight distribution and provides a secure two-handed grip in freezing rain or snow. Machined aluminum eyecup barrels offer exceptional durability compared to plastic alternatives, holding precise detents to maintain full 19.5mm eye relief for eyeglass wearers. The central focusing barrel operates with fluid mechanical resistance, incorporating an integrated locking diopter adjustment that prevents unintentional setting changes during active bush travel.

• Central focus barrel integrating a pull-out locking diopter mechanism with tactile detents
• Submersible nitrogen-purged magnesium alloy frame encased in non-slip black rubber armoring
• Solid aluminum twist-up eyecups providing positive click-stops to maintain correct eye relief
