Vortex Razor 3 MOA Red Dot Reflex Sight

Description

Eliminate target acquisition hesitation with Vortex Razor Red Dot Reflex Sight optics featuring a precise 3.0 MOA aiming dot. Presenting 1 MOA clicks, 115 MOA elevation travel, and side-loading battery access, this sight accelerates visual target acquisition on handguns and shotguns, though top lens hood bulk requires clearance verification on tight holsters.

Forged 7075-T6 aircraft aluminum forms the rigid housing, protecting internal components against direct impacts. Multi-coated optical glass provides high light transmission through the wide viewing window. Completely waterproof and shockproof, this reflex sight measures 1.83 inches long and weighs 1.3 ounces without mount, finished in non-reflective matte black hardcoat anodizing.

Key Features of Vortex Razor Red Dot

Buy Vortex Razor Red Dot reflex sights to gain immediate target acquisition across competitive handguns and tactical shotguns. This rugged optic provides fast sight alignment and repeatable mechanical tracking under sustained firing strings.

• 3.0 MOA illuminated dot reticle delivers balanced precision for action handgun shooting
• 1 MOA elevation and windage adjusters click with tactile confirmation for zeroing ease
• 115 MOA total internal elevation adjustment accommodates varied weapon trajectories
• Side-loading battery tray allows CR2032 replacements without removing optic from slide
• Specialized Vortex Razor internal circuits absorb violent pistol slide recoil forces
• Forged 7075-T6 aluminum housing protects internal optical lenses against heavy drops
• 9 manual illumination levels include bright daylight settings for harsh desert sun
• Expansive optical aperture delivers clear sight pictures for heads-up two-eyes-open shooting

Mechanical Slide Load Shock Resistance

Engineered to ride competition pistol slides, internal electronics survive 1000G slide acceleration cycles without electrical dropouts. Hardened adjuster dials click in 1 MOA increments through 115 MOA travel, holding zero through thousands of rounds. O-ring seals protect internal components against moisture, functioning without internal lens fogging across thermal shifts from -20°F up to 140°F.

Slide Pocket Mounting Fitment

The chassis utilizes the specialized Razor mounting screw pattern for installation on pre-cut slides or Picatinny clamp bases. Fasten the sight using two mounting screws torqued to 12 to 15 in-lbs with blue thread locker. The wide chassis base requires checking clearance on handguns equipped with loaded chamber indicators.

Match Handling Maintenance Protocols

Side push buttons allow fast switching between nine manual brightness settings. This open reflex optic is not engineered for long-range target benchrest competition past 200 yards where high-power telescopic crosshairs are mandatory.

• Inspect side battery tray screw tightness every 200 rounds
• Check slide mounting screw torque every 250 rounds
• Clean the glass lens using optical cleaner every 500 rounds

VIP Lifetime Warranty Manifest

Vortex backs the optic with an unconditional VIP lifetime warranty covering optical, mechanical, and electronic components without time limits. The product package includes the reflex sight, Picatinny mount base, CR2032 battery, hex wrenches, lens cloth, and factory manual.
