Vortex 4-16×44 Diamondback Tactical Riflescope (EBR-2C MOA Reticle)

Description

During high-speed tactical carbine drills the Vortex Diamondback Tactical Riflescope in 4-16x44mm with EBR-2C MOA reticle delivers sharp mid-range target resolution. Offering exposed tall turrets, 1/4 MOA clicks, and 85 MOA travel, this optic bridges tactical training and hunting, though lack of internal reticle illumination reduces low-light reticle visibility.

Forged 6061-T6 aluminum forms the rigid 30mm monotube, protecting erector cells from heavy mechanical shock. Multi-coated extra-low dispersion optical glass provides high contrast and light transmission through the 44mm objective lens. Completely waterproof to IPX7 standards and dry nitrogen purged, this optic measures 14.0 inches long and weighs 23.1 ounces with a matte black finish.

Key Features of Vortex Diamondback Tactical

Buy Vortex Diamondback Tactical riflescopes to provide precision bolt rifles with first focal plane optical precision at an accessible price. This long-range scope delivers exposed dialing turrets, crisp target definition, and repeatable mechanical tracking.

• 4-16x magnification zoom ratio adapts seamlessly from mid-range hunting to long-range steel
• 44mm objective lens gathers abundant light while maintaining low-profile receiver mounting
• 30mm aluminum monotube provides 85 MOA total internal elevation adjustment travel
• EBR-2C MOA first focal plane reticle provides true subtensions and ranging at all magnifications
• Reinforced Vortex Diamondback erector leaf springs prevent zero migration under heavy recoil
• Broadband multi-coatings maximize light throughput and suppress surface glare
• Exposed tall tactical turrets adjust in positive 1/4 MOA clicks with zero-reset capability
• Side focus parallax knob adjusts from 20 yards to infinity to eliminate optical parallax error

Magnum Impact Erector Dynamics

Equipped with dual stainless erector springs, the internal mechanical cell resists zero displacement under 1000G shock impulses from .308 Winchester cartridges. The 1/4 MOA turret screws deliver positive indexing across 85 MOA total travel without lead screw backlash. Dry nitrogen gas filling prevents internal condensation across -20°F to 140°F.

Mounting Clearances Action Placement

The 30mm main tube offers 6.1 inches of mounting length to clear short and long bolt-action receivers like Remington 700 actions. Mount within 30mm rings torqued to 15 to 18 in-lbs. The 44mm objective bell clears medium-contour rifle barrels on standard receiver rails cleanly.

Precision Rifle Maintenance Schedule

The side parallax knob turns smoothly, bringing target crosshairs into sharp focus without moving shooter head alignment. This unilluminated first focal plane optic is not designed for deep twilight hunting stands where illuminated reticle center points are critical.

• Verify ring screw torque using a calibrated wrench every 200 rounds
• Clear dust and powder residue from optical lenses using lens cleaner every 500 rounds
• Inspect turret cap screws and O-rings every 12 months

VIP Lifetime Warranty Manifest

Vortex backs the optical system with an unconditional VIP lifetime warranty covering optics and mechanics without time limits. The shipment package includes the riflescope, sunshade, tethered lens covers, lens cloth, and factory inspection certificate.
