Vortex 4-16×44 Diamondback Tactical Riflescope (EBR-2C MRAD Reticle)

Description

Demanding precise milliradian target ranging? The Vortex Diamondback Tactical Riflescope with EBR-2C MRAD reticle delivers accessible first focal plane precision. Featuring exposed target turrets, 0.1 MRAD clicks, and 25 MRAD travel, this optic speeds up long-distance steel engagements, trade-off being lack of internal reticle illumination in failing twilight.

Machined from high-tensile 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum, the 30mm monotube withstands massive mechanical stresses. Fully multi-coated optical glass delivers high light transmission through the 44mm objective aperture. Completely waterproof to IPX7 standards and nitrogen purged, this riflescope measures 14.0 inches in overall length and weighs 23.1 ounces, finished in matte black hardcoat anodizing.

Key Features of Vortex Diamondback Tactical

Buy Vortex Diamondback Tactical riflescopes to equip precision rimfire and centerfire rifles with professional milliradian reticle subtensions. This versatile optic delivers exposed dialing confidence, side parallax focus, and true first focal plane scaling for tactical marksmen.

• 4-16x magnification zoom range provides versatile power from mid-range scouting to 800-yard target analysis
• 44mm objective lens assembly provides a bright field of view during daylight tracking
• 30mm aircraft aluminum main tube accommodates 25 MRAD total internal elevation travel
• EBR-2C MRAD first focal plane reticle keeps milliradian ranging true across all magnification levels
• Heavy-duty Vortex Diamondback tracking mechanisms maintain calibration through rapid fire
• Multi-coated glass elements maximize light throughput and suppress lens glare
• Exposed tactical turrets provide tactile 0.1 MRAD click adjustments per detent
• Side focus parallax dial adjusts from 20 yards to infinity for sharp focal clarity

Precision Rifle Recoil Endurance

Engineered for tactical bolt-action rifles, internal leaf springs survive repeated 1000G shock pulses from 6.5 Creedmoor and .308 Winchester cartridges. Precision turret lead screws move in 0.1 MRAD increments across 25 MRAD travel within 1 percent tracking accuracy. Internal dry nitrogen filling prevents glass fogging across -20°F through 140°F.

Chassis Ring Mounting Clearances

The 30mm main tube provides 6.1 inches of ring mounting space, fitting precision one-piece mounts or ring pairs on receiver rails. Torque ring caps to 15 to 18 in-lbs and mount base nuts to 35 in-lbs. The 3.8-inch eye relief provides a comfortable eyebox behind tactical precision rifles.

Tactical Handling Maintenance Rules

The zoom selector ring turns smoothly, allowing rapid power adjustments between shooting stages. This first focal plane optic features fine reticle lines at 4x magnification, making it best suited for daylight tactical matches rather than dense timber brush hunting.

• Inspect mount clamp cross-bolts using a torque driver every 200 rounds
• Clean external optical glass with lens fluid and tissue every 500 rounds
• Examine turret zero-reset screws and O-ring seals every 12 months

VIP Lifetime Warranty Manifest

Vortex provides an unconditional VIP lifetime warranty covering optical glass and mechanical assemblies without time limits. The product package includes the riflescope, sunshade, protective lens covers, lens cloth, and factory manual.
