Sightron 1-6×24 S6 FFP Riflescope (LRT Illuminated Reticle, Matte Black)

Description

Struggling with turret tracking backlash? The Sightron 1-6×24 S6 FFP Riflescope delivers daylight-bright tactical performance for dynamic carbines. Featuring a 30mm tube, 0.1 MRAD clicks, and 40 MRAD elevation travel, this LPVO incorporates the illuminated LRT reticle. True 1x magnification permits rapid dual-eye snap shooting, though 6x power limits identification on tiny varmints past 400 yards.

Machined from one-piece aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum, the 30mm main tube withstands punishing magnum recoil impulses without ring distortion. Premium Japanese optical glass features multi-coatings for exceptional light transmission and sharp contrast lines. This Sightron tactical scope measures 10.9 inches, weighs 17.6 ounces, and maintains nitrogen-purged IPX7 waterproof integrity under field squalls.

Key Features of Sightron 1-6×24 S6

Dynamic carbine shooters buy Sightron 1-6×24 S6 riflescope optics to run 3-Gun matches where targets range from bay distances to 500-yard field positions. The bright illuminated center circle guides rapid visual index points.

• 30mm aircraft aluminum monotube delivers 40 MRAD internal adjustment range
• 1-6x magnification range transitions from true 1x close quarters to extended DMR fire
• 24mm objective lens assembly provides a wide field of view at low magnification
• 0.1 MRAD click adjustments give tactile feedback per turret detent notch
• 1-6×24 S6 LRT illuminated reticle delivers daylight-bright center circle targeting
• Glass-etched first focal plane reticle maintains accurate subtensions at every zoom
• Capped low-profile turrets prevent unintentional zero adjustments in transit
• Zero reset capability allows shooters to index turrets to baseline marks

Precision Erector Mechanics

Internal erector assemblies rely on patented ExacTrack erector coil springs to ensure precise tracking repeatability within 1 percent across the entire 40 MRAD elevation travel range. Rated for 1000G shock loads, this Sightron platform withstands .338 Lapua Magnum recoil cycles without zero shift. The erector cell maintains precise reticle alignment from -20°F to 140°F, while sealed O-rings prevent internal lubricant evaporation. Turret indexing features 0.1 MRAD graduations that click with sharp tactile resistance through all adjustments.

Mounting Clearance Space

This optic provides 5.6 inches of ring mounting space to bridge one-piece cantilever mounts on AR-15 and AR-10 flat-top receivers. Secure scope rings between 15 and 18 in-lbs of torque, while torquing base screws to 40 in-lbs. Generous 3.6-inch eye relief prevents ocular contact during heavy centerfire recoil, while the 24mm straight tube clears low rail mounts cleanly.

Turret Handling Protocols

Rubberized magnification rings deliver smooth 10 in-lbs turning resistance across freezing temperatures, assisted by an integrated throw lever. This tactical optic is not engineered for precision benchrest rifle matches where 20x+ magnification is mandatory, nor for nighttime stand hunting without illuminators.

• Clean objective glass surfaces using optical microfiber brushes every 200 rounds
• Check scope mount screw tension with a calibrated torque wrench every 500 rounds
• Inspect elevation turret O-ring seals and grease surfaces every 12 months
