Vortex 1-6×24 Viper PST Gen II Riflescope (VMR-2 MRAD Illuminated Reticle, Matte Black)

Description

Under high-speed tactical carbine drills the Vortex Viper PST Gen II Riflescope with VMR-2 MRAD reticle delivers sharp mid-range target resolution. Offering a 24mm objective lens, 0.2 MRAD clicks, and 46 MRAD travel, this optic bridges room clearing and 500-yard steel, though coarse 0.2 MRAD clicks limit fine target zero adjustments.

Forged 6061-T6 aluminum forms the rigid 30mm monotube, protecting erector cells from heavy mechanical shock. Multi-coated extra-low dispersion optical glass provides high contrast and light transmission through the 24mm objective lens. Completely waterproof to IPX7 standards and dry argon purged, this optic measures 10.9 inches long and weighs 22.7 ounces with a matte black finish.

Key Features of Vortex Viper PST Gen II

Buy Vortex Viper PST Gen II riflescopes to provide tactical carbines with professional milliradian ranging reticles and rugged turret mechanisms. This low-power variable optic delivers bright target definition across shifting engagement distances.

• 1-6x magnification zoom ratio adapts seamlessly from dense urban drills to open ranges
• 24mm objective lens gathers abundant light for daytime carbine engagements
• 30mm aluminum monotube provides 46 MRAD total internal elevation adjustment travel
• VMR-2 MRAD illuminated reticle provides calibrated marks for rapid windage holdoffs
• Reinforced Vortex Viper erector leaf springs prevent zero migration under heavy recoil
• Broadband multi-coatings maximize light throughput and suppress surface glare
• Capped low-profile windage and elevation turrets adjust in positive 0.2 MRAD clicks
• Integrated illumination dial features 10 brightness settings with off positions between each

Magnum Impact Erector Dynamics

Equipped with dual stainless erector springs, the internal mechanical cell resists zero displacement under 1000G shock impulses from 7.62 NATO cartridges. The 0.2 MRAD turret screws deliver positive indexing across 46 MRAD total travel without lead screw backlash. Dry argon gas filling prevents internal condensation across -20°F to 140°F.

Mounting Clearances Action Placement

The 30mm main tube offers 6.4 inches of mounting length to clear standard cantilever mounts on AR-15 and AR-10 flattop upper receivers. Mount within 30mm rings torqued to 15 to 18 in-lbs. The 24mm objective bell clears low-profile handguards on standard receiver rails cleanly.

Dynamic Carbine Maintenance Schedule

The magnification ring turns smoothly, bringing targets into immediate focus without disturbing cheek weld alignment. This 1-6x optic is not designed for dedicated 1000-yard target rifles where high 25x magnification is essential.

• Verify ring screw torque using a calibrated wrench every 200 rounds
• Clear dust and powder residue from optical lenses using lens cleaner every 500 rounds
• Inspect illumination dial O-rings and replace CR2032 cells every 12 months

VIP Lifetime Warranty Manifest

Vortex backs the optical system with an unconditional VIP lifetime warranty covering optics, mechanics, and electronics without time limits. The shipment package includes the riflescope, CR2032 lithium battery, lens cloth, and factory inspection certificate.
