Barska 10×42 Level ED Waterproof Binoculars (Green)

Description

Featuring a 341-foot field of view at 1000 yards and an argon-purged chassis, the Barska 10×42 Level ED Waterproof Binoculars (Green) deliver high-contrast optical clarity and weather resistance for hunters, bird watchers, and outdoor scouts. Combining 10x magnification with 42mm objective lenses, this roof prism optic provides a wide 6.5-degree actual angle of view, a 4.2mm exit pupil, and 15.5mm of eye relief, isolating fine subject details across open fields and brush-choked hillsides.

The optical system integrates extra-low dispersion (ED) objective glass elements paired with phase-corrected BaK-4 roof prisms and fully multi-coated (FMC) anti-reflection lens coatings that reduce internal scatter. Housed within a rugged chassis wrapped in protective olive-green rubber armoring, the optic weighs 26.8 oz (759.8g) and is sealed with internal O-rings and argon gas purging to ensure waterproof integrity and fogproof performance. A smooth center focus wheel drives focal adjustments down to a 6-foot (1.8m) minimum close focus distance, accompanied by a right-eye diopter adjustment ring, twist-up click-stop eyecups, and a 1/4-20 threaded socket for tripod adapter attachment.

Key Features of Barska 10×42 Level ED Waterproof Binoculars (Green)

Designed for all-weather outdoor adventures, this 10×42 roof prism binocular pairs extra-low dispersion glass with phase-corrected BaK-4 prisms. Its argon-purged waterproof chassis withstands severe temperature shifts and rainfall, while the 6-foot close focus distance permits close-range bird and insect study.

• 10x optical magnification paired with 42mm objective lenses producing a 4.2mm exit pupil
• Phase-corrected BaK-4 roof prisms providing crisp edge definition and color contrast
• Extra-low dispersion (ED) optical glass elements with broadband fully multi-coated optics
• Wide 341-foot linear field of view at 1000 yards (113.21 m at 1000 m) with a 6.5-degree angle
• 15.5mm eye relief featuring twist-up rubber eyecups with tactile positioning for eyewear users
• Short 6-foot (1.8 m) minimum close focus distance for inspecting nearby flora and fauna
• Argon gas purged waterproof housing encased in shock-absorbing olive-green rubber armor
• Standard 1/4-20 tripod adapter socket, deluxe carrying case, neck strap, and lens caps included

Extra-Low Dispersion Glass & Phase-Corrected BaK-4 Prisms

The ED objective glass lenses align optical wavelengths to suppress chromatic aberration, preventing distracting color fringes around high-contrast edges such as perched birds against overcast skies. Phase-corrected BaK-4 roof prisms and broadband multi-coatings maximize internal light reflection, delivering authentic color saturation and crisp edge-to-edge optical resolution across the 341-foot field of view during dawn and dusk lighting conditions.

Argon-Purged Green Chassis & Central Focus Gearing

The 759.8 g chassis provides impact resistance against field bumps, while the textured olive-green rubber armor delivers a secure tactile grip in wet or cold environments. Argon gas purging provides thermal stability, preventing internal fogging during sudden atmospheric shifts, while the central focus wheel turns smoothly for rapid target acquisition from 6 feet out to infinity.

• Ribbed center focus wheel and dedicated right-eye diopter ring for accurate focal positioning
• Argon gas purged housing delivering dependable waterproof and internal fogproof protection
• Twist-up eyecups engineered to retain customized eye relief positions during active trekking
