Trijicon 1-6×24 VCOG Riflescope (Green Horseshoe Dot .223/77 Reticle, Thumbscrew Mount)

Description

Dial elevation corrections past 600 yards through Trijicon 1-6×24 VCOG Riflescope units equipped with the calibrated .223/77 Green Horseshoe Dot reticle for heavy match ammunition. Built with an integrated thumbscrew mount, 0.1 MRAD clicks, and 26 MRAD elevation travel, this optic incorporates first focal plane ballistic holdovers. The 77-grain ballistic calibration optimizes heavy match rounds, though non-standard ammunition requires custom trajectory verification.

Constructed around a solid forged 7075-T6 aluminum housing, the chassis resists severe structural twisting on heavy battle rifles. High-definition broadband optical glass utilizes multi-coatings for exceptional contrast along shaded target lines. This Trijicon combat riflescope measures 10.05 inches overall, weighs 23.2 ounces, and features nitrogen gas purging that meets rigorous IPX7 waterproof standards down to 20 meters.

Key Features of Trijicon 1-6×24 VCOG 77gr

Tactical marksmen buy Trijicon 1-6×24 VCOG riflescope models to standardize elevation holdovers for military Mk262 77-grain ammunition across field distances. The illuminated green horseshoe dot reticle provides rapid center vitals contrast in low-light environments.

• Forged 7075-T6 aircraft aluminum chassis provides unmatched combat survivability
• 1-6x zoom assembly provides versatile framing across close brush out to distance
• 24mm front objective glass gathers light for twilight target identification
• 0.1 MRAD tactile turret clicks register sharp distinct mechanical notches
• 1-6×24 VCOG Green Horseshoe Dot reticle provides calibrated drops for 77gr Mk262 ammo
• First focal plane etched glass ensures valid measurements across all magnifications
• Six variable brightness settings adapt to intense daylight and dark shadows
• Integrated thumbscrew mount locks receiver rails with solid mechanical tension

Extreme Range Erector

Built with robust dual coil leaf springs, the internal erector cell retains zero repeatability within 1 percent across the 26 MRAD elevation range. Designed to withstand 1000G recoil forces, this Trijicon VCOG scope handles continuous 5.56 NATO strings without reticle movement. The erector cell maintains precise zero settings between -20°F and 140°F, preventing tracking deviations during harsh winter matches.

Chassis Ring Alignment

The integrated base occupies 4.0 inches of flat-top Picatinny rail space on carbine receiver surfaces. Adjust the dual thumbscrew mounting clamps to 45 in-lbs to eliminate rail play under violent firing schedules. Generous 4.0-inch eye relief provides natural two-eye aiming, while the optical window height matches standard carbine co-witness configurations.

Match Handling Protocols

The integrated zoom ring fin allows fast magnification adjustments with gloved fingers during combat patrols. This specialized military optic is not designed for fine precision target shooting past 600 yards, nor for lightweight mountain hunting platforms.

• Wipe dust from lens coatings using an optical lens pen every 250 rounds
• Confirm thumbscrew mount torque limits on Picatinny mounting fasteners every 500 rounds
• Inspect battery compartment seals and replace standard AA cells every 12 months

Trijicon Warranty Summary

Trijicon backs the optic with a limited lifetime warranty on optical and mechanical systems, with a 5-year warranty on electronic LED illumination components. Inside the shipping box, users receive the riflescope, integrated thumbscrew mount, AA lithium battery, lens pen, microfiber cloth, and instruction booklet.
