Nikon 8×30 Monarch M7 Binoculars

Description

Spanning a wide 8.3-degree actual angle, the Nikon 8×30 Monarch M7 Binoculars spreads an expansive 435-foot field of view at 1000 yards. The 3.8mm exit pupil and 15.1mm eye relief provide fast sight picture acquisition. Compact 30mm objective lenses lose shadow contrast rapidly during the final minutes of dusk compared to full-sized hunting glass.

Extra-low dispersion (ED) glass elements pair with phase-corrected BaK-4 roof prisms coated in dielectric mirror layers and oil-repellent exterior coatings. The reinforced polycarbonate chassis is sheathed in black rubber armor, measuring 4.8 by 4.7 inches and weighing 16.4 oz (465 g). Nitrogen purged and IPX7 waterproof, it incorporates a central focus wheel tracking to 6.6 feet (2 m), a locking right-eye diopter ring, and multi-stop twist-up eyecups.

Key Features of Nikon 8×30 Monarch M7 Binoculars

An agile field optic engineered for birdwatchers, hikers, and travelers who demand a sweeping field of view in a sub-17-ounce frame. The dielectric prism coatings ensure punchy contrast across open meadows, while the locking diopter prevents setting drift in heavy brush.

• 8x magnification through 30mm objective lenses with a 3.8mm exit pupil
• Phase-corrected BaK-4 roof prisms treated with dielectric mirror coatings
• Extra-low dispersion (ED) optical glass elements suppressing chromatic fringe
• Class-leading 435 ft field of view at 1000 yd (8.3-degree actual angle)
• 15.1mm eye relief paired with multi-stop twist-up rubber eyecups
• Short 6.6-foot close focus distance suited for near-range butterfly viewing
• IPX7 waterproof and nitrogen-purged chassis sheathed in black rubber armor
• Locking right-eye diopter adjustment ring and front tripod adapter socket

ED Optical Elements & Dielectric Prism Stacks

Front ED glass elements curb lateral chromatic aberration, preventing purple halos along backlit branches and bright sky edges. Dielectric prism mirror coatings reflect over 99 percent of light across the visible spectrum, maintaining natural color fidelity and high resolution across roughly 85 percent of the frame before slight edge softening begins.

Chassis Ergonomics & Locking Hardware

The compact 16.4 oz chassis balances comfortably in hand with textured side panels that supply a non-slip grip in wet weather. The central focus dial turns with grease-damped resistance, and the locking right-eye diopter ring prevents setting drift when carrying the binocular on a chest harness.

• Locking right-eye diopter ring prevents focal drift when sliding into packs
• IPX7 waterproof construction withstands complete water submersion up to 1 meter
• Multi-position twist-up eyecups provide firm click-stops to maintain correct eye relief
