Nikon 10×30 Monarch M7 Binoculars

Description

Delivering a wide 60.7-degree apparent angle of view in an ultralight package, the Nikon 10×30 Monarch M7 Binoculars provide high-resolution optical tracking for active ornithologists, mountain hikers, and outdoor scouts. Combining 10x magnification with 30mm objective lenses, this compact roof prism instrument produces a 6.7-degree actual angle of view, a wide 351-foot linear field of view at 1000 yards (116.5m at 1000m), a 3mm exit pupil, and 15.8mm of eye relief, maintaining an immersive viewing frame for rapid bird and wildlife identification.

The optical system features Nikon extra-low dispersion (ED) lead- and arsenic-free Eco-Glass elements paired with phase-corrected roof prisms treated with dielectric high-reflective multilayer prism coatings, finished with oil- and water-repellent exterior coatings and broadband fully multi-coated optics. Built inside a lightweight fiberglass-reinforced polycarbonate chassis protected by shock-absorbing rubber armoring, the body measures 4.8 by 4.7 inches (12.2 x 11.9cm) and weighs 16.6 oz (470g). O-ring sealed and nitrogen gas purged to achieve an IPX7 waterproof rating (submersion up to 1 meter for 10 minutes), it incorporates a central focus wheel with a 6.6-foot (2m) close focus distance, a locking right-eye diopter ring, turn-and-slide multi-click eyecups, a 56mm to 72mm interpupillary distance range, and standard 1/4-20 tripod threading.

Key Features of Nikon 10×30 Monarch M7 Binoculars

Engineered for mobile wildlife observers who demand wide-angle views in a compact footprint, this 10×30 binocular pairs Nikon ED glass with dielectric-coated roof prisms. Its IPX7-rated waterproof housing repels heavy rain and accidental submersion, while the locking diopter mechanism prevents accidental setting changes during active trekking.

• 10x magnification power with 30mm objective lenses delivering a balanced 3mm exit pupil
• Phase-corrected roof prisms coated with high-reflectivity dielectric multilayer mirror stacks
• Nikon extra-low dispersion (ED) Eco-Glass optics virtually eliminating chromatic aberration
• Expansive 351-foot linear field of view at 1000 yards with a 60.7-degree apparent angle of view
• Comfortable 15.8mm eye relief featuring turn-and-slide multi-click rubber eyecups for eyeglass wearers
• Close focus distance of 6.6 feet (2 m) for observing butterflies, flora, and nearby trail wildlife

• Oil- and water-repellent exterior lens coatings, locking diopter ring, soft case, and strap included

Nikon ED Eco-Glass & Dielectric Multilayer Prisms

The extra-low dispersion glass elements eliminate color fringing and chromatic aberration by focusing secondary light wavelengths onto an identical focal point. Dielectric multilayer prism coatings deliver uniform reflectance across the visible light spectrum, ensuring high brightness, neutral color rendition, and edge sharpness across the broad 60.7-degree apparent viewing field even in shaded forest canopies.

IPX7 Waterproof Chassis & Locking Diopter Mechanics

Weighing only 470 g, the fiberglass-reinforced housing provides high tensile strength while eliminating neck fatigue during all-day birding excursions. The tactile rubber armoring offers a secure grip in freezing rain, while the center focus knob glides smoothly for rapid tracking, accompanied by a locking diopter ring that keeps individual vision adjustments secured against accidental rotation.

• Large center focus wheel paired with a locking right-eye diopter ring to prevent calibration drift
• Nitrogen-purged IPX7 waterproof construction submersible to 1 meter for up to 10 minutes
• Multi-click turn-and-slide eyecups with oil- and water-repellent outer optical lens coatings
