Description
Combining solar capability with nighttime astronomy, the Bresser N 114/500 Solarix AZ Telescope uses a parabolic 114 mm Newtonian reflector with a 500 mm focal length and listed f/4.4 focal ratio. Its alt-azimuth single-arm mount with extended handle controls supports manual positioning, while the included certified solar lens filter, smartphone camera adapter, eyepieces, and 2x Barlow lens provide a complete observation setup for the listed daytime and nighttime applications.
The optical tube features aluminum multi-coatings with a protective overcoat and a 1.25-inch rack-and-pinion focuser. The included aluminum tripod and accessory tray support the supplied manual mount configuration. For solar use, the certified solar filter must be correctly installed and inspected before every session. The telescope should never be pointed at the Sun without the appropriate filter in place.
