Trijicon 3-9×40 Credo Riflescope (Green Standard Duplex Reticle)

Description

Severe erector grease freeze stops with Trijicon 3-9×40 Credo Riflescope units equipped with the illuminated Green Standard Duplex reticle for low-light woodland deer hunting. Built with a 30mm tube, 1/4 MOA clicks, and 70 MOA elevation travel, this optic incorporates a daylight-bright center dot. The clean duplex view prevents target distraction, though holdover points must be estimated without reticle hash marks.

Machined from one-piece aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum, the 30mm main tube withstands punishing magnum recoil impulses without ring distortion. Premium broadband optical glass features multi-coatings for exceptional light transmission and sharp contrast lines. This Trijicon hunting scope measures 12.3 inches, weighs 17.0 ounces, and maintains nitrogen-purged IPX7 waterproof integrity under field squalls.

Key Features of Trijicon 3-9×40 Green Duplex

Whitetail hunters buy Trijicon 3-9×40 Credo riflescope models to secure rapid center-mass alignment without complicated reticle grids in thick timber. The illuminated green center dot guides eyes directly onto target vitals in deep evening canopy shadows.

• 30mm aircraft aluminum monotube delivers 70 MOA internal adjustment range
• 3-9x magnification range transitions smoothly from close timber out to 400 yards
• 40mm objective lens assembly provides a bright exit pupil for clear target acquisition
• 1/4 MOA capped turrets provide positive click detents without accidental movement
• 3-9×40 Credo Green Standard Duplex reticle features an illuminated center aiming dot
• Second focal plane etched reticle keeps crosshairs consistent at all zoom levels
• Ten variable brightness settings adapt to intense daylight and dark timber stands
• Capped zero-reset turrets safeguard zero settings against bumps in dense cover

Internal Erector Dynamics

Built with robust dual coil leaf springs, the internal erector cell retains zero repeatability within 1 percent across the 70 MOA elevation range. Designed to withstand 1000G recoil forces, this Trijicon Credo scope handles continuous .30-06 and .300 Win Mag strings without reticle movement. The erector cell maintains precise zero settings between -20°F and 140°F, preventing tracking deviations during harsh winter hunts.

Receiver Rail Alignment

With 5.4 inches of ring mounting space, this optic mounts onto long-action and short-action hunting rifles without clearance issues. Torque 30mm ring cap screws to 16 in-lbs, and tighten base rail screws to 40 in-lbs. The 3.7-inch eye relief protects shooters against heavy recoil movement, while the 40mm bell fits low mounting rings over standard sporter barrels.

Hunting Field Function

The magnification ring turns with firm 8 in-lbs torque to maintain set power levels when moving through brush. This optical unit is not designed for dedicated 1000-yard benchrest matches where 24x+ magnification is required, nor for room-clearing CQB entry.

• Clean objective elements using lens-cleaning pens and canned air every 200 rounds
• Check 30mm ring screw torque using a precision inch-pound driver every 500 rounds
• Clean zero-reset turret threads and inspect rubber O-rings every 12 months
