Trijicon 2×20 Compact ACOG Riflescope, Dual Illumination (RTR .223 Reticle)

Description

Severe erector grease freeze stops with Trijicon 2×20 Compact ACOG Riflescope units equipped with the calibrated RTR .223 reticle and dual battery-free illumination. Built with a forged 7075-T6 body, 1/2 MOA clicks, and dual tritium and fiber optic illumination, this optic incorporates calibrated 55-grain 5.56 NATO drop points. The illuminated reticle speeds snap shooting, though 2x magnification limits target identification past 300 yards.

Machined from one-piece aircraft-grade 7075-T6 aluminum, the rugged chassis prevents internal prism shift under heavy recoil forces. Multi-coated broadband optical glass delivers high light transmission across visible color spectrums without blue tinting. Measuring 5.3 inches in length and weighing 6.4 ounces without mount, this Trijicon tactical sight contains sealed dry nitrogen gas purging that meets IPX7 waterproof standards down to 100 feet.

Key Features of Trijicon 2×20 RTR .223

Dynamic carbine shooters buy Trijicon 2×20 Compact ACOG riflescope packages to eliminate holdover math during tactical match stages. The RTR .223 reticle provides calibrated ballistic drop marks for standard 55-grain military ammunition.

• Forged 7075-T6 aluminum unibody housing withstands extreme military combat abuse
• 2x fixed magnification allows shooting with both eyes wide open for maximum speed
• 20mm front objective glass gathers light while keeping profile extremely compact
• 1/2 MOA tactile turret clicks register sharp distinct mechanical notches
• 2×20 RTR .223 reticle provides calibrated ballistic drop points out to 500 yards
• Dual-illumination system combines self-luminous tritium with external fiber optics
• Generous 10mm exit pupil allows rapid eye placement from non-standard shooting stances
• Protective lens coatings guard optical glass against surface scratching

Recoil Hardened Electronics

The internal optical cell utilizes dual-spring erector retention to withstand 1000G shock loads on military assault rifles. Elevation and windage adjusters deliver precise 1/2 MOA click values with tracking error under 1 percent. Operating reliably between -20°F and 140°F, this ACOG system preserves zero alignment through extreme thermal cycles.

Receiver Rail Alignment

The mounting interface clamps directly onto MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rails using compatible ACOG mounting bases. Tighten mounting base cross-bolts to 35 in-lbs to eliminate rail play. The 2.1-inch eye relief provides ample clearance on combat rifles, while the compact 5.3-inch overall length leaves ample rail space for rear iron sights.

Tactical Handling Protocols

The fixed optical assembly provides instant sight pictures without requiring focus dials or power throw levers under match pressure. This compact combat optic is not engineered for fine precision benchrest shooting past 300 yards, nor for small-target competitions.

• Wipe exterior optical lenses with soft microfiber lens cloths every outing
• Check mounting base cross-bolts with a calibrated torque tool every 500 rounds
• Inspect fiber optic light pipe clarity and external housing seals every 12 months

Factory Warranty Coverage

Trijicon backs the optic with a limited lifetime warranty on optical and mechanical systems, with a 15-year warranty on tritium illumination elements. Inside the shipping box, users receive the mini riflescope, carry case, lens pen, logo sticker, and instruction booklet.
