Steiner 8700-MPS Micro Pistol Sight (Flat Dark Earth)

Description

Dial elevation corrections past 600 yards through Steiner 8700-MPS Micro Sight units finished in flat dark earth for tactical duty handguns. Built with a 1x micro window, 3.3 MOA red dot, and enclosed emitter housing, this reflex optic provides unlimited eye relief. The enclosed design prevents lint obstruction, though custom slide adapters are required for non-ACRO pistol slides.

Milled from structural aluminum, the armored unibody housing isolates internal electronic diodes from external impacts. Coated European glass delivers distortion-free daylight viewing across dynamic entry angles. Measuring 2.1 inches and weighing 2.05 ounces, this Steiner tactical reflex sight features silicone gasket sealing that prevents moisture penetration under wet operational conditions.

Key Features of Steiner 8700-MPS FDE

Tactical operators buy Steiner 8700-MPS sight alternatives to equip combat sidearms with fully enclosed red dots that match tactical flat dark earth weapon finishes. The recessed front lens design shields optical surfaces from barrier impacts.

• Structural aluminum housing prevents internal optical damage under severe slide cycling
• 1x unmagnified targeting allows operators to maintain complete situational awareness
• 3.3 MOA red dot reticle allows swift close-quarters target acquisition and precision
• 1 MOA tactile clicks provide precise elevation and windage zero adjustments
• Steiner 8700-MPS sight features auto-off battery conservation after thirteen hours
• Enclosed LED emitter prevents mud and rain from interrupting dot projection
• ACRO footprint clamp locks onto duty pistol slides with solid mechanical tension
• Top battery tray permits fast cell replacement without dismounting the optic

Recoil Shock Calibration

Built to withstand 1500G slide cycling shock impulses, the internal emitter maintains precise bore alignment through thousands of duty rounds. Click adjusters move windage and elevation in 1 MOA divisions with tracking error under 1 percent. Functioning across temperatures from -20°F to 140°F, this micro reflex optic prevents dot wander in extreme cold.

Mount Clearance Guide

The sight base mounts precisely onto ACRO slide dovetails or aftermarket adapter plates. Secure the side clamping screw to 25 in-lbs using medium-strength thread locker. The sight profile maintains proper clearance in duty holsters, while the 2.05-ounce weight preserves factory slide cycle speed.

Tactical Handling Protocols

Dual side buttons provide instant brightness adjustments through tactile clicks while moving through tactical drills. This specialized pistol optic is not designed for extreme long-range rifles past 100 yards, nor for shotgun platforms lacking mounting plates.

• Clean carbon build-up off glass surfaces using optical lens fluid each outing
• Check mounting cross-bolt tension with a calibrated torque tool every 500 rounds
• Test battery output voltage and inspect compartment seals every 12 months

Meopta Crate Inventory

Steiner backs the micro red dot with a 2-year electronic warranty alongside lifetime structural protection on the metal chassis. Factory packaging includes the micro reflex sight, CR1632 battery, mounting tool, microfiber cloth, and instruction booklet.
