Sightron 36×45 SIII ED Riflescope (Target Dot .125 Reticle, Matte Black)

Description

Severe erector grease freeze stops with Sightron 36×45 SIII ED Riflescope units equipped with Japanese ED glass and the precision Target Dot .125 reticle in matte black. Built with a 30mm tube, 1/10 MOA clicks, and 50 MOA elevation travel, this competition optic freezes target bullseyes. The 36x power pinpoints tiny rings, though mirage shimmers can soften edge definitions.

Machined from one-piece aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum, the 30mm main tube withstands punishing benchrest strings without ring distortion. Premium Japanese ED glass features Zact-7 multi-coatings for exceptional light transmission and sharp contrast lines. This Sightron target scope measures 15.0 inches, weighs 20.5 ounces, and maintains nitrogen-purged IPX7 waterproof integrity under field squalls.

Key Features of Sightron 36×45 Target Dot

Precision shooters buy Sightron 36×45 SIII riflescope packages to eliminate optical chromatic aberrations and acquire razor-sharp bullseye focus. The micro target dot covers minimal target surface area to ensure absolute shot placement.

• 30mm aircraft aluminum monotube delivers 50 MOA internal adjustment range
• 36x fixed magnification resolves tiny target rings and bullet holes past 200 yards
• 45mm extra-low dispersion ED objective lens eliminates edge color fringing
• 1/10 MOA exposed target turrets provide crisp mechanical click detents
• 36×45 SIII ED Target Dot .125 reticle provides an unobstructed view of target rings
• Second focal plane layout maintains exceptionally fine crosshairs for pinpoint aiming
• Side-focus parallax knob dials parallax out from 10 yards to infinity
• ExacTrack erector system eliminates windage shift during elevation adjustments

Precision Erector Mechanics

Internal erector assemblies rely on patented ExacTrack erector coil springs to ensure precise tracking repeatability within 1 percent across the entire 50 MOA elevation travel range. Rated for 1000G shock loads, this Sightron platform withstands centerfire recoil cycles without zero shift. The erector cell maintains precise reticle alignment from -20°F to 140°F, while sealed O-rings prevent internal lubricant evaporation.

Mounting Clearance Space

This optic provides 6.0 inches of ring mounting space to bridge target actions and one-piece rail systems without interference. Secure scope rings between 15 and 18 in-lbs of torque, while torquing base screws to 40 in-lbs. Generous 3.6-inch eye relief prevents ocular contact during heavy recoil, while the 45mm bell fits standard medium-height rings on heavy barrels.

Turret Handling Protocols

Knurled target turrets turn with crisp mechanical detents, providing distinct feedback for subtle wind adjustments between benchrest strings. This heavy fixed-power optic is not engineered for mobile woodland stalks where added weight hinders mobility, nor for rapid close-range carbine courses.

• Clean objective ED elements using optical microfiber brushes every 200 rounds
• Check scope mount screw tension with a calibrated torque wrench every 500 rounds
• Inspect elevation turret O-ring seals and grease surfaces every 12 months
