GPO USA 3-9×42 PASSION 3X Riflescope (Plex Reticle, Flat Black)

Description

Severe low light target fade ends with the GPO USA PASSION 3X Riflescope, featuring a classic Plex reticle, 42mm objective, and 1-inch aluminum chassis. Built for traditional bolt-action sporter rifles, it provides 100 MOA total elevation travel with 1/4 MOA click values, delivering crisp target definition while maintaining an agile field carry profile under sixteen ounces.

Machined from high-tensile 6061-T6 aluminum, the thick-walled 1-inch chassis isolates internal erector gears from receiver strain. Double HD optical glass features GPObright multi-coatings, maintaining razor target edges in overcast dusk. Nitrogen purging eliminates internal moisture hazards, yielding IPX7 submersible sealing. Tipping scales at 15.2 ounces with a 12.5-inch length, this optic anchors hunting rifles, representing high-performance GPO USA hunting optic engineering.

Key Features of GPO USA PASSION 3X

Traditional deer hunters buy GPO USA 3-9×42 PASSION 3X scopes to secure proven European optical quality at practical hunting weights. The clean Plex reticle tapers smoothly to fine center crosshairs for precise shot placement.

• 42mm objective lens gathers abundant ambient light while maintaining low receiver mounting clearance
• 3-9x magnification ratio spans close timber shots and extended 500-yard open pasture shots
• 1/4 MOA capped turrets provide positive zero clicks without accidental field rotation
• 100 MOA internal elevation stroke allows versatile trajectory compensation on hunting calibers
• Second focal plane non-illuminated Plex reticle delivers high-contrast sight pictures without batteries
• Double HD objective lens elements minimize chromatic fringing along high-contrast borders
• PASSION 3X hunting scope tracking components maintain zero through sustained magnum firing strings
• Fast-focus ocular eyepiece sets crosshair sharpness across varying eyesight profiles

Passion Turret Elevation Travel Bounds

Hand-fitted internal erector systems utilize dual steel tension springs, maintaining tracking accuracy within 1 percent across the 100 MOA elevation span. The 1/4 MOA turrets offer distinct tactile detents, eliminating backlash under field zeroing. Tested to withstand 1000G shock loads, this optic tolerates continuous recoil from .30-06 Springfield platforms. Thermal tolerances run from -20°F to 140°F, preserving erector lubricants without internal vapor release.

1-Inch Monotube Chassis Rail Fitment

The standard 1-inch tube requires standard scope rings with 5.4 inches of receiver mounting room. Medium rings allow the 42mm objective bell to clear forward sporter barrel contours on bolt-action rifles. Torque ring fasteners to 15 to 18 in-lbs and mount base nuts to 40 to 45 in-lbs. Eye relief sits at 3.54 inches, offering protection against heavy recoil.

Hunting Field Usability Maintenance Routine

The power selector ring turns with firm mechanical resistance, stopping unintentional zoom shifts during fast field carry. This non-illuminated hunting optic is not engineered for night predator hunting or extreme close-quarters dynamic room clearing. Implement structured armorer maintenance to maintain factory performance.

• Wipe dust and debris from optical glass using a clean lens cloth every 200 rounds
• Inspect scope mount fasteners with an accurate torque tool every 500 rounds
• Clean external turret threads and inspect rubber cap seals every 12 months
