It provides 40x, 100x, and 400x magnification through three High-Contrast (HC) achromatic objectives: 4x/0.10, 10x/0.25, and spring-loaded 40x/0.65. The 30-degree inclined monocular head rotates 360 degrees and carries a widefield WF 10x/18 mm eyepiece alongside an internal beam splitter that branches digital data directly to a USB 2.0 output cable.
Transmitted illumination is supplied by a patented X-LED1 1W white LED system with a custom condensing lens, controlled by a manual dimmer scroll wheel on the base.
