Canon 10×32 IS Image Stabilized Binoculars

Description

Utilizing active electronic lens-shift stabilization, the Canon 10×32 IS Image Stabilized Binoculars provides a 315-foot field of view at 1000 yards (6.0-degree actual). The 3.2mm exit pupil and 14.5mm eye relief yield steady handheld resolution. Weighing 27.5 ounces, its rounded battery-powered chassis feels bulkier in hand than conventional 32mm roof binoculars.

Porro II prisms, UD glass elements, and field flattener lenses run Super Spectra multi-coatings alongside a gyro-actuated shift lens correcting one degree of motion. Powered by two AA batteries, the composite chassis measures 6.7 by 5.6 by 3 inches at 27.5 oz (780 g). Built for dry outdoor use, it features a center focus wheel tracking to 6.6 feet (2 m), dual stabilization buttons, and twist-up eyecups.

Key Features of Canon 10×32 IS Image Stabilized Binoculars

Built for birders and wildlife observers who need steady ten-power magnification without the burden of carrying a tripod. The dual-mode stabilization system features Powered IS for locking onto stationary wildlife and Standard IS for tracking moving subjects.

• 10x magnification paired with 32mm objective lenses producing a 3.2mm exit pupil
• Electronic lens-shift image stabilization featuring Standard and Powered IS modes
• UD extra-low dispersion optical elements reducing chromatic aberration
• Porro II prism system with integrated field flattener lenses for edge-to-edge sharpness
• 315 ft field of view at 1000 yd (6.0-degree actual angle)
• 14.5mm eye relief with multi-stop twist-up rubber eyecups
• Short 6.6-foot close focus distance suited for near-range nature viewing
• Powered by two standard AA batteries offering long field runtime

UD Glass Physics & Lens-Shift Stabilization

Canon’s internal gyro sensors actuate a dedicated shift-lens element to cancel micro-tremors, freezing fine feather bars into sharp focus. UD glass elements eliminate color fringing, and field flattener lenses preserve edge sharpness, though the 3.2mm exit pupil requires daylight conditions for comfortable observation.

Composite Chassis & Dual-Button Control

The ergonomic composite body places both stabilization buttons directly under your index fingers, allowing seamless toggling between continuous tracking and rock-steady stationary holds. The central focus dial operates with smooth mechanical drag across its range.

• Separate Powered IS and Standard IS buttons allow custom stabilization selection
• Ergonomic curved body contours provide a secure, comfortable two-handed hold
• Twist-up eyecups feature distinct mechanical click-stops to maintain correct eye relief
