Kowa TSN-88A 88mm PROMINAR Spotting Scope Kit with TE-11WZ II WA-Zoom Eyepiece (Angled Viewing)

Description

Calculate bullet impacts past 1000 yards through Kowa TSN-88A Prominar Scope kit hardware, combining an 88mm pure fluorite crystal objective with an angled optical body and the TE-11WZ II wide zoom ocular. Sized for precision marksmen, range officers, and nature spotters, it delivers crisp optical contrast across target lines. The light 65-ounce combined chassis handles with ease, though high-magnification viewing demands a sturdy carbon tripod in ridgeline winds.

A 100 percent magnesium alloy chassis encloses the internal Porro-prism pathways and dual-focus mechanisms. The 88mm objective lens utilizes pure fluorite crystal glass elements with KR surface coatings that push daylight transmission past 90 percent. Nitrogen gas purging delivers IPX7 submersible waterproofing down to 3 feet. This Kowa angled spotting scope measures 14.8 inches in length, balancing center mass across commercial tripod heads.

Key Features of Kowa TSN-88A

Invest in Kowa TSN-88A precision rifle optics to resolve difficult ballistic distance questions in open country. This instrument couples high-power glassing resolution with a fast laser engine for competitive shooters and big-game guides.

• 88mm pure fluorite crystal objective lens gathers immense light for twilight observation
• Angled 45-degree viewing orientation allows comfortable observation across diverse tripod heights
• Included TE-11WZ II wide-angle zoom eyepiece provides expansive fields of view at all powers
• Dual focus mechanism provides rapid coarse adjustment alongside surgical fine-focus control
• KR hydrophobic coatings shed rain droplets, oil, and dust from external objective glass surfaces
• Magnesium alloy chassis ensures mechanical durability while keeping pack carry weight manageable
• Waterproof nitrogen-purged interior prevents internal glass fogging during sudden freezes

Optical Resolution Physical Performance Metrics

The pure fluorite crystal objective lens completely eradicates chromatic aberration and color fringing, delivering razor-sharp edge contrast on bullet holes at 1000 yards. Light transmission remains brilliant even under deep twilight. Operating across minus 4°F to 140°F, the mechanical focus cells maintain fluid resistance without backlash. Internal shock proofing shields sensitive prism cages against jarring vehicle transport.

Chassis Layout Tripod Adaptation Specifications

The machined mounting foot fits Arca-Swiss quick-release tripod clamps straight without extra adapter hardware. Dual threaded 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 sockets provide secure attachment to heavy match tripods. The angled 45-degree viewing axis allows intuitive target tracking from shooting mats. The rotating mounting collar locks firmly with a knurled thumbscrew for lateral canting.

Field Operation Usability Filter Boundaries

Dual focus knobs allow fast coarse sweeps with light index-finger pressure, followed by fine focus on distant mirage layers. The bayonet eyepiece collar locks modular oculars without wobble. This portable 88mm observation optic is not engineered for mobile mountain backpack hunting where ultralight 50mm compact scopes rule pack weight.

• Clear debris and dust from optical glass elements with lens cleaner after each outing
• Inspect the eyepiece bayonet locking pin and O-ring seal for dirt every 100 field hours
• Store the scope module within its padded protective case during field transit
