ZEISS 1.8-14×50 V8 Riflescope (Plex Reticle #60)

Description

Tested 1000G magnum shock resistance arrives with ZEISS Victory V8 Riflescope units in 1.8-14x50mm equipped with the illuminated 60 reticle. Delivering a versatile 1.8-14x zoom, 1/3 MOA clicks, and 85 MOA travel, this optic bridges woodland tracking and alpine shots, trade-off being substantial 50mm objective bell dimensions requiring medium-height rings.

Machined from high-grade aircraft aluminum, the 30mm monotube withstands massive field abuse while maintaining rigid structural integrity. SCHOTT HT glass delivers 92 percent light transmission through the 50mm objective lens. Fully waterproof and nitrogen purged, this scope measures 13.5 inches in length and weighs 25.4 ounces with a hardcoat anodized surface.

Key Features of ZEISS Victory V8

Buy ZEISS Victory V8 optics to outfit premium stalking rifles with exceptional European glass resolution. This high-zoom hunting scope delivers edge-to-edge optical clarity and repeatable mechanical tracking through challenging dawn and dusk hunts.

• 1.8-14x magnification zoom ratio provides versatile power from dense timber stalking to open mountain slopes
• 50mm objective lens diameter gathers ample light while delivering crisp contrast in failing light
• 30mm aircraft aluminum main tube accommodates 85 MOA total internal elevation adjustment
• 60 illuminated reticle provides an ultra-fine center dot that covers minimal target area at distance
• Heavy-duty ZEISS Victory internal erector cells prevent point-of-impact shift under recoil
• LotuTec water-repellent coatings ensure clear sight pictures in heavy downpours and mountain snow
• Low-profile capped turrets provide positive 1/3 MOA click adjustments per detent
• Side focus parallax dial adjusts from 50 yards to infinity to eliminate optical parallax error

Dynamic Recoil Erector Endurance

Engineered for big-game rifles, internal leaf springs survive 1000G shock pulses from .300 Win Mag and .338 Federal cartridges. Precision turret lead screws move in 1/3 MOA increments across 85 MOA travel within 1 percent tracking accuracy. Internal dry nitrogen filling prevents glass fogging across -13°F through 122°F.

Mounting Span Receiver Dimensions

The 30mm main tube provides 6.1 inches of ring mounting space, fitting rugged ring sets on bolt-action and flattop rifle receivers. Torque ring caps to 15 to 18 in-lbs and mount base nuts to 35 in-lbs. The 3.7-inch eye relief provides an expansive, safe eyebox behind heavy-recoiling platforms.

Field Service Maintenance Rules

The textured power magnification ring turns with firm mechanical resistance, maintaining set magnification through thick brush contact. This 25.4-ounce optic is not designed for ultralight mountain rifles where every ounce disrupts balanced carry.

• Inspect mount clamp cross-bolts using a torque driver every 200 rounds
• Clean external optical glass with lens fluid and tissue every 500 rounds
• Examine battery compartment threads and O-ring seals every 12 months

Manufacture Warranty Box Manifest

ZEISS backs this riflescope with a 10-year warranty covering optics and mechanics plus 2-year electronics coverage. Inside the box rests the riflescope, CR2032 lithium battery, protective lens covers, lens wipe, and operator guide.
