Vortex 1-10×24 Razor HD Gen III Riflescope (EBR-9 BDC MOA Illuminated Reticle)

Description

Aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum monotubes enclose the Vortex 1-10×24 Razor HD Riflescope Gen III with EBR-9 BDC reticle. Providing true 1x magnification, 1/4 MOA clicks, and 120 MOA elevation travel, this first focal plane optic dominates combat carbines, trade-off being tight 2.4mm exit pupil at 10x magnification in failing light.

Constructed from a single block of aircraft-grade aluminum, the 34mm main tube withstands severe combat drops. Premium high-density extra-low dispersion optical glass features XR Plus multi-coatings for light transmission through the 24mm objective aperture. Completely waterproof and argon purged, this optic measures 10.1 inches long and weighs 21.5 ounces, finished in stealth shadow hardcoat anodizing.

Key Features of Vortex Razor HD Gen III

Buy Vortex Razor HD Gen III riflescopes to equip professional carbines with top-tier first focal plane optical versatility. This combat-tested LPVO provides daylight-bright red dot speed alongside 10x long-range target ranging.

• 1-10x magnification range spans from true 1x close-quarters speed to 10x distance engagement
• First focal plane design ensures reticle subtensions remain true across all magnification levels
• 34mm aircraft aluminum main tube accommodates 120 MOA total internal elevation adjustment
• EBR-9 BDC reticle features daylight-bright center illumination and calibrated bullet drop holds
• Durable Vortex Razor erector spring assemblies maintain tracking repeatability under harsh recoil
• Optically indexed lenses optimize target image sharpness and color contrast from edge to edge
• Low-profile capped turrets adjust in positive 1/4 MOA tactile travel clicks
• Side illumination dial features 11 brightness settings with intermittent off positions between clicks

Combat Recoil Ballistic Calibration

Engineered to meet military durability standards, internal erector assemblies survive continuous 1000G recoil cycles from 7.62 NATO and 5.56 NATO platforms. Internal click adjusters track in 1/4 MOA increments across 120 MOA travel within 1 percent tracking accuracy. Argon gas purging stops internal lens fogging across thermal shifts from -20°F to 140°F.

Carbine Receiver Mounting Clearances

The 34mm main tube offers 5.9 inches of ring mounting space, fitting heavy-duty cantilever mounts on flattop AR-15 receivers. Tighten 34mm ring screws to 15 to 18 in-lbs and mount base cross-bolts to 45 in-lbs. Generous 3.6-inch eye relief delivers a wide, forgiving eyebox during rapid firing strings.

Tactical Handling Maintenance Protocols

The smooth magnification selector ring features a removable throw lever for fast power transitions under pressure. This first focal plane optic features fine reticle lines at 1x magnification, relying on the daylight-bright illuminated center dot for close-quarters snap shooting.

• Check cantilever mount clamp torque on the receiver rail every 200 rounds
• Clear dust and powder residue from optical glass using lens fluid every 500 rounds
• Inspect battery compartment cap O-ring and replace CR2032 cells every 12 months

VIP Lifetime Warranty Manifest

Vortex backs the optic with an unconditional VIP lifetime warranty covering optical, mechanical, and electronic components without time limits. The packaging includes the riflescope, sunshade, throw lever, CR2032 battery, lens cloth, and product manual.
