Observe living cell cultures inside deep culture flasks through the Hund Medicus Plus Inverted Trinocular Microscope tissue culture workstation. Because objectives sit beneath the stage, you can view cells growing on vessel bottoms without disturbing liquid media. Powered by infinity-corrected optics, it delivers 40x, 100x, 400x, and 1000x magnification using Long Working Distance (LWD) Plan Achromatic lenses: 4x/0.10, 10x/0.25, 40x/0.60, and 100x/1.25 oil. The 40x objective features optical thickness compensation to shoot clean images through plastic flask bottoms.

Transmitted light comes from an overhead vertical pillar carrying an adjustable 6V 30W halogen lamp and an LWD condenser (NA 0.30) that provides 72 mm of vertical clearance. That is plenty of physical room for large roller bottles and multilayer flasks. The fixed stage measures an expansive 200 x 200 mm, supplemented by attachable mechanical extension rails (120 x 80 mm XY travel) and interchangeable dish holders.
